After spending over 35 years in the Information Technology field, 'I'm now using my budget and planning skills to provide personalized fiduciary services to seniors and busy professionals. Having family members who needed these services over the past several years encouraged me to pursue this field and serve those who can't or aren't able to manage their daily finances or health care on their own. As founder of MoneyWise with Marybeth, I'm excited to put my organizational and financial skills to work by helping people simplify their lives, organize their finances, and keep up with health-related matters.
My Qualifications
I'm a licensed Professional Fiduciary in California since 2017 and a member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California. I adhere to a rigorous Code of Ethics which promotes high standards of client services (Professional Fiduciary Code of Ethics). For clients who need fiduciary services, I can serve by agreement as trustee, representative payee or as an agent under powers of attorney. I can assist with Trust management, or represent incapacitated individuals in the areas of health care and financial transactions. Licensing by the State of California ensures that the services I provide are within the legal authority granted to me and are in the best interest of my client.
I am also a Registered Medicare Counselor and can help seniors navigate Medicare enrollment including Part B and D plans, review claim forms to ensure proper billing, and assist with filing an appeal in the event of denied services.
Most importantly, working one on one with my clients gives me an opportunity to help bring clarity and order to a their daily management of budgets, appointments, and record keeping, providing the peace of mind they seek in order to have more time to do the things they enjoy.
